ViTech started life as Sandgate Services, a security installation and service company in 1991.
The company name was changed to ViTech Ltd in 1997 and diversified into design and manufacturing as there was a need for new testing and control equipment for the New Zealand Fire industry.
ViTech is now the preferred supplier of Battery testing and control equipment to many Fire Alarm service companies.
Having been involved in the monitoring of fire alarms to the New Zealand Fire Service for many years we have seen many types of monitoring equipment and associated signal generating devices. We manufacture our own signaling devices to complement our Fire Brigade Alarms (FBA) and are distributors for Safety Technology International (STI), the manufacturers of the world famous Stopper II fire alarm call point covers that help prevent false activations.
With the monitoring systems, ViTech saw a need for a cellular product to boost or amplify the cellular signal in low signal areas and became distributors for Digital Antenna, the oldest and first manufacturer of dual band cellular amplifiers to have approvals in the USA. ViTech now has permission for the use of these amplifiers in New Zealand.
We continue to develop new products for not only the fire industry but also the security and electrical industries.
